Cabbage rolls
Ingredients
• 500 g mixed minced meat
• 1 kg cabbage
• 3 medium onions, grated
• 1 teacup Carolina rice
• 3 tbsp. parsley, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp. dill, finely chopped
• 1 teacup Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Savoil Vivre"
• 3 teacups meat broth
• Salt, pepper
• 2 eggs
• The juice of 3 lemons
• 2 tbsp. corn flour
Execution
• Cut the cabbage at the base and remove the hard part.
• Put the whole cabbage in a pot with salted water and boil it for 15 mins.
• Take it out and let it cool off completely.
• Prepare the stuffing by mixing the minced meat with the rice, the onion, the parsley and add salt and pepper.
• Take out the cabbage leaves one by one, remove the thick part and tear them in two.
• Add a spoonful of the mix and wrap it.
• Place the rolls in the pot.
• When you are done, add the olive oil, salt, pepper and the broth.
• Boil over medium heat for 1 hour.
• For the egg and lemon sauce: beat the eggs with the lemon and the corn flour, remove the food from the heat, take the juice and pour it slowly in the egg mix, stirring constantly.
• Add the egg and lemon sauce to the food and it is ready.
